Meet Dr. Candice Turpin
Dr. Candice Turpin was raised in Michigan. She attended Hampton University and received a BS in Biology. Following in her father and grandfather's footsteps she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. This led her to Howard University, College of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Turpin then completed a General Practice Residency at Winslow Indian Health Care Center and North Country Health Center in northern Arizona, before going into private practice. She enjoys getting to know her patients by listening and having open dialogue. Over the years Dr. Turpin has honed her skills by completing numerous education courses and performing a range of procedures. She uses her knowledge of laser dentistry, clear aligner orthodontics, dental bonding, crown and bridge works, composite fillings, and implants to treat her patients.
Dr. Turpin has volunteered her time with Give Kids A Smile and Maryland Mission of Mercy, presented to elementary school children, and participated in numerous health fairs. Outside of dentistry, she is also involved with various local organizations helping women and children. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When Dr. Turpin is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. On the weekends you can find her all over the DMV attending her children's soccer and baseball games.
